In 40 years of company history, we have proven quality and reliability in our family business because of the self-understanding and the personal commitment of the company owners. Over the years, our customer base and our offer has steadily expanded. We are proud to be able to offer our customers a complete package from professional consulting, sales of new and used machines and spare parts to maintenance and repair on site at the customer's premises or in our workshop.
Our History
1969 - Start into the Industry:
For 40 years in business: The description for the company founder could not be better. In 1969 master butcher Heinrich Meindl began to work at Eggenhofer in Munich as representative for the companies Handtmann, Fessmann, Laska and others and gathered valuable know-how and contacts for his successful company history.
1976 - Founding of the company Heinrich Meindl – butcher-equipment:
With the takeover of the dealership for Handtmann, Fessman and Laska for the South East Bavarian region, Heinrich Meindl, together with his wife Gabriele, founded the company Heinrich Meindl - butcher-equipment. After a successful start to self-employment, Meindl's product portfolio has been steadily expanded over the years to include well-known manufacturers such as, for example, Rühle and MAJA. But not only in the trade of new and used machines, but also in the field of customer service, the company Meindl was always well known to the customers.
2007 - Change of name Meindl & Sohn GmbH & Co. KG
In January 2007, the older of the two sons, Thomas Meindl, joined the company as an equal shareholder. This necessitated an adjustment of the legal form. The electrical engineer master and technical manager worked for 14 years at Bosch-Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH in Traunreut, of which the last 6 years as an experimental field technician in the development laboratory.
2007 - Start of the service partnership with Rühle GmbH
2009 - Start of the service partnership with MAJA-Maschinenfabrik Hermann Schill GmbH & Co. KG
2011 - Market launch Meindl-TOP-CLEAN Smoke Sticks Washing Machine
2012 - Expansion of storage capacity by the Meindl machine warehouse at the station in Kirchanschöring
2016 - 40th Anniversary "Meindl Machines"
2018 - Death of company founder Heinrich Meindl. Continuation of the company by Thomas Meindl as the sole managing director
After a prolonged, severe illness, the company founder and senior partner Heinrich Meindl passed away in January 2018. He became 73 years old. Until his death, he was actively involved to the corporate business with untiring personal commitment.
After the death of his father Thomas Meindl continues the company as the sole managing director.
